  • Private payroll 191K versus 150K estimate
  • Participation rate 62.9% versus 62.8%. last month 62.8%
  • two month net revisions to non farm payroll -11K
  • manufacturing jobs+17 K versus plus 3K estimate.  Last month 3K
  • goods producing jobs plus 37K
  • service jobs, plus 154K

The US employment numbers for June came in better-than-expected with 224K vs 160K estimate. However, there was a small revision. The unemployment rate ticked up, helped by an uptick in the participation rates. Wages disappointed vs expectations.
