Hu Xijin, the editor-in-chief of China’s Global Times, is tweeting that China is concerned about the fairness of a trade deal the US. He tweets:

I hope there is not a scenario where in order to progress China has to remove all retaliatory tariffs (from the US side).  And from the China side, the US has to remove all their tariffs first.   As a result, we have a stalemate situation as each side looks to one up the other.  Sit down and get it all done.
