Trade ideas thread – European session 25 April 2019

Daily thread to exchange ideas and to share your thoughts

Happy Thursday, everyone! Hope you’re all doing well as we get things going here on the session. Things are rather quiet so far with major currencies still in a relatively narrow range against the dollar and is less than 0.03% changed against the greenback on the day so far. The only notable mover has been the yen, which moved slightly higher before the BOJ monetary policy meeting decision earlier.

That said, the move remains modest with USD/JPY still hugging levels near the 112.00 handle as it has done for majority of the past two weeks. With little on the economic calendar, I reckon we could be in for a more quiet one before US durable goods orders and earnings releases help to set the mood for the trading day later.
